Afternoon pools may be created to accommodate more teams. Times are subject to change\nMorning Pools:\n7:15am check in\n7:45am morning meeting\n8:00am start time\n\nAfternoon Pools:\nDepending on the number of teams will determine if we have PM pools.\n\n\nPool Play:\nAll reffing teams are responsible for entering live scores on a cell phone. One person from each reffing will need to have a charged cell phone.\nThe reffing team is responsible for entering the final score.\n\nSchedule and Playoffs:\nDay one:  Match play in pools for 3 and 4. All 4 team pools play one game to 28. We do our best to try and have all 4 team pools but due to cancelations there may be a 3 or 5 team pool.\nDay two:  All teams will advance to playoff brackets. Brackets may be changed to Gold and Silver\, or Gold\, Silver\, Bronze\, and Copper divisions if necessary based on time\, capacity\, and weather. Brackets are subject to change. Playoffs in all divisions are single elimination one game to 28 no cap win by 2.\nPlayoffs will be posted in Volleyball Life after all pools have been finished and locked.\n\nDepending on the number of team playoffs will break down as listed below and are subject to change:\nTeams will advance to the following playoffs rounds:\n1st in pool GOLD\n2nd in pool SILVER\n3rd in pool BRONZE\n4th in pool COPPER\n\nIf you are in a 5 team pools teams will advance as follows:\n1st and 2nd in pool GOLD\n3rd in pool SILVER\n4th in pool BRONZE\n5th in pool COPPER\n\nIf playoffs are just GOLD and SILVER divisions\n\nThe top two teams will go to GOLD\nThe bottom two or three teams will go to SILVER\n\n\n*Depending on the total number of teams playoffs may be GOLD and SILVER for smaller divisions.\n\nHow to Qualify: \n\nThis is a bid only event for girls 12U\, 13U\, 14U\, 15U\, 16U and 18U\nPlay in one of our BVNE BID Qualifiers.\nONLY ONE PARTNER IS REQUIRED TO HAVE WON A BID.\nBID WINNERS CAN PLAY WITH A PARTNER OF THEIR CHOICE.\nAll players must have a BVNE membership.\nThis is a BVNE “Play Your Age” Event. SUMMARY:BVNE 2021 National Championships
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the BVNE 2021 National Championships\n\n\n\nWe are excited to announce our National Championship Tournament in Pompano Beach Florida on July 26th and 27th.  BVNE bids earned in the 2019/2020 seasons will be honored for 2021.  It’s important for bid winners to get signed up early. Earning a bid does not secure your spot in our 2021 National Championships. \nWe have also added a GNBV College Recruiting Showcase on July 28-29 following the National Championship and NO BID is required.  This tournament will fill up fast so secure your spot now. Space is limited as of 1/30/2021 as we still don’t know if this will be a virtual showcase or an in person showcase with D-1 and more colleges in attendance. The dead period is schedule to end April 15th\, 2021. As soon as we have published information from the NCAA will be either leave max teams at 32 or open up to more teams. \nBelow are all the details for the July 26-27\, 2021 BVNE National Championship Tournament\nWhat about California? We don’t expect large scale events to return to California for the 2021 season. If for some reason we were able to host an event in California\, this event will not change. We will add an additional non-bid tournament that would adhere to new guidelines set fourth by California. \nWhere to Stay:\nThese are two of many local options. Tru by Hilton is directly across the street and just opened for reservations on February 1st. This is a new hotel with food\, shopping\, surf shop\, pier parking all next door. At this hotel you can walk across the street to the event. \nThe Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach is a ten minute drive from the beach. Very convenient and nearby restaurants and shopping too. \nFlying In\nYou will be flying into Fort Lauderdale airport (FLL). It’s a short 20 min ride to Pompano Beach Pier. \nTournament Schedule & Format\nPlayers can self check in on the event website the night before the tournament to avoid long lines at check in. No one will be required to visit the event desk as your entire schedule is available online at all times. The event desk will be open to everyone for questions and additional details throughout the event. If you are able to use self check in and know where you are playing all you need to do is report to your court\, get set up and attend the 8:45am morning meeting. \nEvent Day Schedule\nCheck in officially starts at 8:00 am. All players will participate in the 8:45 am morning meeting. Games start at 9:00 am. \nEvent Format\nAll reffing teams are responsible for entering live scores on a personal cell phone.  One person from each reffing will need to have a charged cell phone. Look for the “key” in volleyball life pools and click on it then follow the instructions. SCORES MUST BE ENTERED IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE GAME. THIS REFFING TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENTERING THE FINAL SOCRE. \nSchedule and Playoffs\nDay one:  Pool play matches to 21.  If a third game is needed to 15 no cap win by 2. \nDay two:  All teams will play one single elimination one game to 28 no cap win by 2. \nPlayoffs will be posted in Volleyball Life after all pools have been finished.\nOn Day two make sure you report to your assigned court 30 min prior to the start time for warm up.  All teams have 10 min after the scheduled start before a forfeit will be issued. If you decide to register on site of the event\, there are NO GUARANTEES that you will get a spot in the event. ANY LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE $110\nOpen divisions prize money:  $80 from each team will go to prize money. \nJUNIOR DIVISIONS: DEADLINE 9 a.m. Friday prior to event. $90  PLEASE REGISTER EARLY and there will be NO ISSUES! If you wish to register on site\, there are NO GUARANTEES that you will be able to play. ANY LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE $110 \nIn the event of inclement weather\, Saturday play may need to play on Sundays when space is available. \n Check in is 7:30 -8 a.m. \nPool play Format: \nFour team pools will play games to 25\nFive team pools will play games to 21 \nDivisions with 2 pools:  Top three teams advance to single elimination bracket. \nDivisions with 3 or more pools:  Top two teams advance to single elimination bracket. \nJunior format: \nStarting May 3rd. 2018 \nJunior play will be as follows;\nPool play followed by a single elimination tournament. \nDrop/Refund Policy – Two weeks prior to the event = 100% refund. Within two weeks of the event = 0% refund. \nRain/Weather Cancellation Policy – In the event that the competition is cancelled by the Tour Director due to weather\, (before the respective event begins) teams will be offered a credit for a future event only. Teams must be present at the event to receive a credit for the cancelled event. No refunds will be offered if a future event remains on the schedule\, regardless of the location. No refunds or credits will be offered to any team that decides not to attend the respective event. In the event that a competition that has already started gets delayed or rained out\, no refunds will be offered. Teams will be afforded an opportunity to find a safe place to wait on a restart. If teams decide to depart before an event restarts\, they will not be entitled to receive any refund of their entry fees.
