BVNE/FBVT hosting the GNBV Virtual Video Showcase at Pompano Beach in Florida January 2-3, 2021 U12’s-U18’s  (U12’s is a non showcase division)

Some College coaches will NOT be in attendance due to current NCAA rules, however the schools listed have confirmed they will be tuning in to our “Get Noticed Beach Volleyball” YouTube Channel.  Please make sure you contact the coaches you are interested in once you are signed up to let them know you are playing and they can tune in.  College coaches will be sent a BracketPal link for the tournament and the link to all our YouTube videos the night before so they can follow along. This is a great way to start communication with college coaches so they can watch you play and give you feedback.

Registration:
Again, please make sure you enter accurate information for you and your partner since player names, coach contact information, and select other data is provided to collegiate coaches.

Please visit gnbv.net for updates. We recommend everyone print and bring your tickets to the tournament.

• 8:00 am check in
• 8:45 am team meeting
• 9:00 am tournament starts

*Four courts each pool will max out out five teams.

*Three team pool plays a match, two games to 21.  If a third game is needed play to 15.

*Four and five team pools play to 21.

*One time out per team.

*No technical time outs.

*Switch sides on multiples of seven.

*Reffing team is responsible for entering scores in BracketPal. (you need your login information in order to enter scores in BracketPal).

Special VIDEO Instructions 

When both teams are ready to play you will report to the video camera.  The first player will announce to the camera the division and pool number. Each team will take a turn to state their last name and graduation year, while maintaining six feet distance from the other team.

At the end of each game the winning team will go back to the camera and report the final score by saying your last names and the score, such as “Smith and Jones won 21-18” and then wave to our team so we can prepare the camera for the next team.

PLEASE ALLOW 72 HOURS FOR VIDEO TO START SHOWING UP ON BRACKETPAL AND YOUTUBE.

COLLEGE COACHES WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH LINKS TO BOTH YOUTUBE AND BRACKETPAL FOR VIEWING.

ALL ATHLETES WILL RRECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH A LINK TO DOWNLOAD ALL UNEDITED VIDEO. THIS VIDEO WITH BE AVAILABE FOR UP TO SIX MONTH FOR YOU TO DOWNLOAD.

Playoffs:  Please note this is subject to change depending on time/daylight

• Everyone will go into playoffs: Gold, Silver, Bronze
• First and second in pool will go to GOLD Division
• Third in pool will go to SILVER Division
• Fourth and fifth place team in pool will got to BRONZE Division

Gold Division prizes and medals 1st – 3rd (double bronze)

• 1st place Kauai Bikini bottom, Lole Water Bottles, BVNE swag.
• 2nd place Lole Water Bottles BVNE swag.
• 3rd place BVNE Wave Wear t-shirts BVNE swag.
• All winners will receive a bid to our 2021 Championship tournament in July. Dates for Championship will be last week in July.  Due to COVID-19 we are not able to book dates yet.

Silver & Bronze Division

Social Distancing Protocol: All rules subject to change for each location the closer we get to the event. 

• When not playing please practice social distancing.
• Please use hand sanitizer before you play.
• Upon arrival we will take your temperature. Any temperatures over 100.4 will receive a team refund.
• If for any reason you are sick please text Daron at 310-547-7486 to let her know that your team is dropping out and a full refund will be processed anytime through event day.
• If you have advised to self quarantine by a contact tracer please stay home.
• If for any reason you wake up and don’t feel good even if you think its just a cold please stay home, we will happily provide a refund.
• No high fives.
• No congregating between teams.
• When returning a ball to another court, please kick the ball.
• On side change, please walk around opposite sides of the poles.
• Use balls provided that have been sanitized.
• No personal balls please.
• We recommend everyone wear a face covering when not playing.
